Regardless of
Delta Airlines' recent business announcement,
daily flights will continue to be offered from
the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport to
Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport (MSP).
There will be no interruption in service for the
flying public.
In an effort to enhance the flying experience
for passengers and pilots flying to and from the
Brainerd Lakes Area, a $7.4 million dollar
terminal renovation is underway and slated to be
completed in January 2012. These enhancements,
along with recent runway expansions, position
the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport favorably in
an effort to gain additional airlines to the
market.
The Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport (BRD)
provides residents, business travelers and
vacationers the convenience of a quick, direct
flight to and from the Lakes Area. Free parking,
along with available car rentals, a great
restaurant and stress-free security check-in
make flying from Brainerd a great deal.
